Printing

  1. Open the document you want to print.
  2. Choose File > Print or press P.
  3. Adjust the options in the standard macOS print dialog.
  4. Click Print.

The print dialog is the standard macOS one, so you can:

  • Choose a printer, or Save as PDF from the PDF menu.
  • Set the page range, number of copies, paper size, and orientation.
  • Scale the pages to fit the paper.

To create a file rather than a paper copy, Export to PDF gives you quality presets and an optional searchable text layer that the print dialog’s Save as PDF does not.
