Print a document

1. Open the document you want to print.
2. Choose File > Print or press ⌘ P.
3. Adjust the options in the standard macOS print dialog.
4. Click Print.

Print options

The print dialog is the standard macOS one, so you can:

• Choose a printer, or Save as PDF from the PDF menu.
• Set the number of copies, paper size, and orientation.
• Print a range of pages instead of the whole document.
• Scale the pages to fit the paper.
• Check every page in the preview before printing.

Print only some pages

1. Choose File > Print or press ⌘ P.
2. Set the page range in the print dialog, giving the first and last page you want.
3. Click Print.

Tip

To create a file rather than a paper copy, Export to PDF gives you quality presets and an optional searchable text layer that the print dialog’s Save as PDF does not. It can narrow the pages too - see Choose which pages to export.
