Quality presets
Section titled “Quality presets”| Preset | Best for |
|---|---|
| Original | Lossless compression, largest files. Best for archival and maps. |
| High | Smart compression per page. A great balance of quality and size. |
| Compact | Smaller files for sharing and e-readers. |
High is a good default for most documents.
Make the PDF searchable
Section titled “Make the PDF searchable”Turn on Enable OCR in the export options to recognize the text and embed it in the PDF, so the exported file can be searched in any PDF reader. Pick the language that matches the document. If the document already has embedded text, OCR replaces it and the export may take several minutes.
If you only need search inside Niraqua DjVu, you can instead run text recognition without exporting.
