Website Privacy Notice
Last updated: 2026-09-11
Scope and controller
Section titled “Scope and controller”This notice applies to the niraqua.com website. Niraqua operates this website and is the controller for the processing described here. Contact: [email protected].
The Niraqua DjVu application has a separate privacy policy. The app does not contain analytics and does not upload your documents. Visiting this website from the app is ordinary web browsing covered by this notice.
Website delivery and security
Section titled “Website delivery and security”Cloudflare and our web server process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the website. This may include IP address, requested path, date and time, response status, referring page, and browser user agent. We use this information for security, abuse prevention, reliability, and fault diagnosis, based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure website. Operational logs are access-restricted and retained only as long as needed for those purposes.
Optional PostHog analytics
Section titled “Optional PostHog analytics”PostHog analytics is optional. We do not load PostHog, contact PostHog, or create a PostHog identifier unless you select Accept analytics. If you reject analytics, no information is sent to PostHog.
After acceptance, we collect:
- the page path without query strings or fragments;
- site language and broad browser, operating-system, and device information;
- anonymous page views;
- page exits and approximate visit duration;
- clicks on links and buttons, with element text and attributes masked;
- aggregated pointer, click, and scroll-position data used to create heatmaps;
- Core Web Vitals and related page-performance measurements;
- clicks opening the DjVu product page or App Store listing; and
- an anonymous browser and session identifier.
We do not send names, email addresses, document names or contents, search terms, form contents, element text or attributes, full referrers, advertising identifiers, or precise location. We do not capture form changes or submissions, session replay, console logs, surveys, exceptions, network request timing, advertising, or cross-site activity. We never connect the anonymous identifier to an account or call PostHog’s identification features.
PostHog processes this information for us in its EU cloud in Frankfurt. The legal basis is your consent.
Cookies and browser storage
Section titled “Cookies and browser storage”The first-party niraqua_analytics_consent cookie remembers your choice for 180 days. It is necessary to respect your decision and is not used to measure behavior.
If you accept analytics, PostHog uses first-party cookie and local-storage entries containing anonymous identity and session information for up to 180 days. Rejecting analytics creates no PostHog storage. You can use Analytics in the footer at any time to change your choice; withdrawing consent stops PostHog and removes its browser persistence. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
App Store campaign links
Section titled “App Store campaign links”Links to the App Store may contain Apple’s provider, campaign, and media-type parameters. They tell App Store Connect that a product-page visit originated from this website. Apple measures product-page views and qualifying downloads under its own terms and privacy practices. We do not receive information identifying the people who install the app and do not join App Store campaign data to individual PostHog visitors.
Recipients and transfers
Section titled “Recipients and transfers”Our processors include Cloudflare, our hosting providers, and—only after analytics consent—PostHog. They may use subprocessors to provide their services. Where processing involves an international transfer, we rely on the safeguards supplied by the relevant provider, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Section titled “Your rights”Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw analytics consent at any time.
The website has no user accounts and we deliberately do not collect names, email addresses, or other direct identifiers in PostHog. As a result, we cannot associate analytics records with a named person or reliably locate a particular visitor’s records in response to a request.
Changes and contact
Section titled “Changes and contact”We will update the date above when this notice changes. Privacy questions and requests: [email protected].
