## Moving through pages

- **Scroll** with a trackpad, mouse wheel, or the scroll bar to move through the
  document.
- Go to the next or previous page with `⌘` `↓` and
  `⌘` `↑`.
- Jump to the first or last page with `⌘` `⇧` `↑` and
  `⌘` `⇧` `↓`.
- The **Go** menu lists all of these, along with **Go to Page**.
- The current page is highlighted in the thumbnail sidebar on the left.

## Page layout

Choose how pages are laid out from the **View** menu:

| Layout | Shortcut |
| --- | --- |
| Single Page | `⌘` `1` |
| Single Page Continuous | `⌘` `2` |
| Two Pages | `⌘` `3` |
| Two Pages Continuous | `⌘` `4` |

Continuous layouts let you scroll smoothly from one page to the next. The
two-page layouts show a spread, which suits books and magazines.

## Wide and fold-out pages

**Fit Wide Pages to the Column** is on by default. A page wider than the rest is
scaled down to match it. Turn this off to lay every page out at its natural
width, which makes a document that mixes page sizes scroll sideways. You can
change it under **Settings > Reading** on Mac, iPhone, or iPad.

## Zooming

| Action | Shortcut |
| --- | --- |
| Zoom In | `⌘` `+` |
| Zoom Out | `⌘` `-` |
| Fit Page | `⌘` `⇧` `F` |
| Actual Size | `⌘` `0` |

**Fit Page** scales the page to fit the window; **Actual Size** shows it at
100%.

## Jumping to a page

To jump straight to a page, choose **Go > Go to Page** or press
`⌘` `⌥` `G`, type the page number, and press **Go**.
