To convert a DjVu file in Niraqua DjVu, open the document, choose **Export as PDF**, select the pages, and save the result. Conversion runs on your device.

## Before you start

[Install Niraqua DjVu](https://niraqua.com/djvu/). It requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, iOS 26 or later, or iPadOS 26 or later. One App Store purchase includes all three platforms. Check the store for the current price in your region.

## Export the pages

1. Open the `.djvu` document. Download it first if it is stored in the cloud.
2. On Mac, choose **File > Export as PDF**. On iPhone or iPad, use **Export as PDF** in the toolbar or **…** menu.
3. Choose **All Pages**, **Current Page**, or **Page Range**. Both ends of a range are included.
4. Choose a quality preset. Start with **High**; use **Compact** when a smaller file is more useful. Check fine print and illustrations after export.
5. Enable **OCR** and choose the document language if you need searchable text. Recognition is part of the export; you do not need a separate recognition run first.
6. Export, choose where to save, and open the resulting PDF to check the pages and search.

## Check the result

PDF size depends on the source and export settings. A converted PDF can be larger than the DjVu. OCR can misread letters or omit text; check quotations against the page image.
