Niraqua DjVu opens `.djvu` files on iPhone and iPad. You can read scanned books, search text, add bookmarks, and export PDF files. It requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later.

## Open and read a document

1. [Install Niraqua DjVu](https://niraqua.com/djvu/) from the App Store. One purchase includes Mac, iPhone, and iPad; the price depends on your storefront.
2. Open the document from the app's document browser or from **Files**. If it is stored in iCloud Drive or another provider, let it download first.
3. Pinch to zoom. Use page thumbnails to jump to a page, or use the document's contents when available.
4. Add a bookmark to return to a page later. See [contents and bookmarks](https://niraqua.com/djvu/help/contents-bookmarks/).

## Search text or export a PDF

Search uses embedded text or text recognized on the device. For a scan with no usable text layer, [run text recognition](https://niraqua.com/djvu/search-djvu/). Check recognized text before quoting it.

Use **Export as PDF** in the toolbar or **…** menu to save the whole document or selected pages. Enable OCR if the PDF needs searchable text. See [PDF conversion](https://niraqua.com/djvu/djvu-to-pdf/).

## Work offline

Reading, OCR, and conversion run locally after the file is available on the device. Downloading cloud files and sharing use the services you choose.

Long tasks can show progress on the Lock Screen and supported Dynamic Island devices. If iOS suspends a task, reopen the app to continue. See [iPhone and iPad help](https://niraqua.com/djvu/help/ios/).
